It was 2008 when IPPUDO opened its first international outlet in New York. Since then, the company underwent extensive expansion in Asia-Pacific. At present, we have stores operating in Singapore (2009), Seoul (2011), Hong Kong (2011), Taipei (2012), Sydney (2012), and Kuala Lumpur (2013), with plans for further expansion.
Everywhere we expand, the mission remains the same: to spread “Smile” and “Arigatou” through bowls of ramen. Ramen has become soul food in Japan, with a wide variety and easy availability. IPPUDO brings the true and authentic ramen, with much effort being invested in producing the highest quality soup, noodles and other ingredients, in every place it operates.
Here in the Philippines, with its own central kitchen dedicated to soup and noodle production, IPPUDO aims to dazzle Filipinos with its quality products, dynamic ambience and hospitable service. Using local products and infusing them with Japanese elements, IPPUDO does not compromise to ensure optimum food quality.
Hakata, another name for Fukuoka city in the south of Japan, is best known for its Tonkotsu-based ramen. Made from pork bones simmered for many hours, its creamy texture and white colour exemplifies deep yet light flavours of pork. Ultra-thin noodles were crafted to cater to the Hakata crowd, who demands quick service. Enjoy the springy texture of our noodles and taste of wheat with each bite. If you are up for it, order Kae-dama to top up your noodles.
In due course, IPPUDO will be offering ramen from other parts of Japan, featuring different soup bases and types of noodles. Let IPPUDO, the world-famous ramen emporium, take you on a delicious journey of Japanese soul food.
